Grahame Ware gave a great presentation on Narcissi and bulbs in general - always entertaining while providing a wealth of information and great photos.

Door and Raffle Prizes:  

We raffled a selection of great items too numerous to mention and of course, the plants of the month.

October Meeting

Our next meeting is Thursday October 3rd.  Our speaker is Grahame Ware. Grahame is passionate about Daffodils and will discuss how to grow them, how to start them from seed and surprise us with some varieties we might not be familiar with. Grahame is a freelance writer/broadcaster with diverse experience and insight into the world of plants.

The doors open at 6:30pm and the meeting begins at 7pm.

We raffled a selection of great items too numerous to mention and of course, the plants of the month.  Our guest speaker Devmurti Khalsa donated a beautiful White Jasmine for the raffle.

September Meeting

Our next meeting is Thursday September 5th.  Our speaker is Devmurti Khalsa from Denman Island. He is going to share his wealth of knowledge about growing and harvesting healthy figs as well as offer some information on other unusual edible fruit and nut trees that do well in our climate. May Meeting

Our next meeting is Thursday May 2nd

The May 2nd meeting is our annual plant exchange and AGM.  

Pot up your plants early so they have time to settle in and look their best for the exchange table.  Shrubs, perennial divisions, annuals or veggie starts are all wonderful options if you have extras.  Please label your plants.  You can bring up to 3 plants for the exchange, any extras can be donated to the sale table.  It is helpful if you bring a small box or bag to carry your plants home.

The meeting begins at 7pm, remember to bring your own mug.
