Thursday November 1st Meeting

Our next meeting is Thursday November 1st

Join us for presenter Terri Perrin who will talk to us about Feng Shui for Outdoor Spaces.

Terri is certified as a Feng Shui Practitioner through Mount Royal College in Calgary Alberta and is a member of the Feng Shui Association of Canada and the International Feng Shui Association.  Terri now lives in Courtenay BC where she presents a variety of Feng Shui workshops.

The meeting begins at 7pm, remember to bring your own mug.

What to do in the October garden by Sue Dunn:
 

October is a busy month in the garden, Sue Dunn provided a comprehensive list to keep us all busy.

Guest Speaker:


Todd Carnahan from Wildsafe BC spoke about using Native Plants in the Garden.  He gave a informative and humorous presentation on functional gardens for wildlife, preventing wildlife conflict and strategies for enhancing drought tolerance.

Door and Raffle Prizes:  


We raffled a selection of great items including a book by Linda Gilkeson and of course, the plant of the month.
